Black Belt at Sales & Strategic Networking Academy
Hi
A friend visited me yesterday. When he was leaving, I said, Make it a Great Day. He turned and spoke.
Al, most people say have a nice day. I notice you always say Make it a Great Day. Why is that?
Saying have a nice day is a beautiful sentiment. In my life, events come into my life as neutral events until I define them. If I define the event as a problem, I become a victim of the situation.
If I define the event as a challenge, I must exert a lot of emotional energy to win, and maybe I do, and perhaps I do not.
On the other hand, when those perceived problems or challenges come into my life, I define them as opportunities, and I stay centered and clear-headed.
When I face those neutral events as opportunities, it brings out the best in me. It is only a matter of perspective. When we change our perspective, we change our activity or approach, which drives better results.
So, when I say Make it a Great Day subtly, I am saying no matter what comes into your life today, I know you can be victorious and triumphant and Make it a Great Day.
